Water Treatment & Filtration

Test first. Treat only what you actually need.

Why It Matters

Your Water Might Look Fine. A Lot of SC Well Water Does β€” Until You Test It.

Elevated iron turns fixtures orange and smells metallic. Hydrogen sulfide makes your water smell like rotten eggs. Hard water leaves scale buildup that shortens the life of water heaters, dishwashers, and pipes. Most SC homeowners live with these problems for years β€” assuming it's just how well water is β€” without knowing there's a fix. The right starting point isn't equipment. It's a water test. We test first, tell you honestly what we found, and recommend only what you actually need.

Our Process

How We Handle Your Water Treatment

1

Water Testing

Drop off or mail in a water sample for a free mineral analysis, or request professional state-lab contaminant testing for a complete picture. No equipment sales pitch until we know what's actually in your water.

2

Honest Analysis

We explain exactly what we found and what it means for your family and your appliances. If your water is fine, we tell you that.

3

System Recommendation

If treatment is needed, we recommend the right solution β€” whole-house filter, water softener, iron filter, reverse osmosis, or a combination β€” sized for your household.

4

In-House Installation

Our crew installs everything. No subcontractors.

5

Verification

We test your water after installation to confirm the treatment is actually working.

Common Questions

Water Treatment & Filtration FAQ

What's the difference between the free test and the paid test?
The free test covers common minerals β€” iron, hardness, pH. The paid professional test (state-certified lab) covers a broader range of contaminants including bacteria, nitrates, and heavy metals. If you're on a new well or have health concerns, the comprehensive test is worth it.
My water smells like sulfur. Can that actually be fixed?
Yes β€” completely. Hydrogen sulfide is one of the most common water quality issues in SC and one of the most treatable. The right filtration system eliminates the smell entirely.
Will you try to sell me a softener I don't need?
No. If your hardness numbers don't warrant a softener, we'll tell you. The test results drive the recommendation β€” not a sales quota.
How long does water treatment equipment last?
Most quality whole-house systems run 10–20 years with routine filter maintenance. We'll give you a clear maintenance schedule at installation so nothing catches you off guard.
