Pump Installation & Repair

Right pump. Right size. Installed by a crew that's been doing this since 1960.

Why It Matters

A Pump That's Wrong for Your Well Will Fail Years Before It Should.

A properly sized, properly installed submersible pump should give you years of reliable service. An undersized pump strains to keep up and burns out early. An oversized pump short-cycles, waterlogging the pressure tank and killing the motor in 3–5 years. And an improperly installed pump voids its warranty before the truck leaves your driveway. Getting the spec right β€” matched to your well depth, static water level, and actual household demand β€” is the whole job. That's where 66 years of experience makes a real difference.

Our Process

How We Handle Your Pump Installation

1

System Assessment

We measure your well depth, static water level, and household water demand. The pump spec comes from those numbers β€” not from what's on the truck.

2

Equipment Selection

We match pump, motor, pressure tank, and fittings to your specific system β€” using brands we've trusted for decades.

3

Professional Installation

Our crew installs everything in-house to SCDES standards. No subcontractors, no shortcuts.

4

Pressure & Flow Testing

Before we leave, we verify pressure, flow rate, and cycle time are all where they should be.

5

Walkthrough

We show you how the system works and what normal operation looks like β€” so you can spot a problem early if one ever develops.

Common Questions

Pump Installation & Repair FAQ

How long should a well pump last?
A properly sized and installed submersible pump should give you years of reliable service. Undersized pumps or those that short-cycle frequently often fail in 3–5 years. Getting the spec right at installation is the biggest factor.
What pump brands do you use?
We work with several quality brands and select the pump that fits your well and water demand β€” not the one with the biggest margin. We'll tell you what we're installing and why.
My pressure tank is waterlogged β€” does it need to be replaced?
Sometimes we can recharge a waterlogged tank. Other times the bladder has failed and replacement is needed. We'll diagnose it and walk you through the options before we do anything.
What does the 5-year warranty cover?
The 5-year manufacturer's warranty covers the pump and tank only. If the equipment fails within 5 years, we coordinate the manufacturer's warranty claim on your behalf.
